Mr.ちゃぶ台返し

Mr ちゃぶ台返し (flip table) is a simple robot made for Hebocon world championship 2016 Tokyo. Z Portal flew us to Tokyo for the match. Me Flip Table got knock out in the first round. But luckily he got a creative award from one of the judges.

AuduinoScope

A phenakistoscope is an ancient animation device which apply rapid image substitution through a viewport to create an animation sequence. With the help of arduino we could make the led to flash at a certain frequency, when the frequency matches with the rotation speed, then it create an illusion of animation sequence too. It is a project we help @ddedhk to produce an exhibition piece for @swatch_hk. In the actual exhibition piece we’ve added an ultrasonic range sensor which turns on the device when a viewer comes close, and the knot is adjustable to achieve animations at different speed.

Pipe King Robot

The PipeKing robot - is another robot we made for heboconHK. It utilised a mini toilet pipe stick as its weapon, the pipeking would knock away the washroom’s door for his first attack which surprised our audiences XD The process of making hebocon robots are enjoyable as always, and the funniest part is to see how kids enjoyed the robot we made during the match, and after the match when they borrow it for fun.
